Chrissy Murderbot’s mixtape madness

Chicago-based DJ/Producer Chrissy Murderbot has made a bold commitment to producing a new mixtape every week for the next 52 weeks.  Each mix will be based on either a theme or genre. Chrissy reports he will come up with esoteric themes like “songs built around idioms that wouldn’t have made sense 100 years ago” and “songs with toponyms in the title.”  I’m not even trying to act like I knew the definition of a toponyms before I wrote this. Its a pretty clever idea if you ask me. His first mix is a collection of dancehall gems from the late 80’s/early 90’s. We love dem joints here at u:move.  If Chrissy’s first mix is a sign of whats to come, then you may want to add this link into your browser’s favorites list. http://yearofmixtapes.blogspot.com  Booyah-kah!
