    Having toured the world bestowing his older fans and new ones with his soaring beats and earning his stage name as a synonym with anything “bass music” related, Bassnectar is on top of the global beat scene.  Everybody’s favorite long-haired, festival-rocking DJ is set to slay the mainstage for Critical Mass at the Kanrocksas Music Festival on Friday night.  Bassnectar will probably draw the biggest crowd on the Critical Mass bill, and that has a lot to do with him being on the mainstage.  But being one of the most recognizable international DJ icons in the world’s eye doesn’t hurt either.
