Being asked to perform at Coachella two years straight (2010 & 2011) is no small accomplishment, even for a La-La-Land-based producer/remixer like R/D.  Southern Cali’s Coachella Festival has been the indie-tronica boss of music festivals for a few years, but with it being tour season and all, we get R/D right in our own backyard in August for the Critical Mass division of the Kanrocksas Music Festival.  Melding indie-rock and glitch-hop sounds culminating in highly melodic, mostly instrumental and easily accessible dance music is his M.O.  If you like Glitch Mob, you’ll love R/D’s sound as well.  Download his latest album Liquid Heart Keeper (2011), right here for free!  And get ready for his performance at Kansas City’s own little Coachella on Friday, August 5.  Stay tuned to kanrocksas.com for more info on set times in the coming days.
