New Tracks From Norrit (KC/Brooklyn)

Since KC-native, Norrit (aka Iggy Baby), moved to Brooklyn NYC a few months ago, I have no idea what he has been up to since.  He did release what I think of as one of my favorite dance-shaded EPs of the past five years with Now Jack Swung in 2010 on Think 2Wice, which saw some rather gaudy blog love.  While NJS was basically a 7-track update of some rather forgotten r&b vocals, these new tracks on his soundcloud (both less than nine days old) free his own irrational take on what we’ll call abstract house.  A far cry from the warm and fuzzy vibes HERE (okay, maybe not that far of a cry), Norrit’s music, and these tracks specifically, have been smashed into left-field since NJS, but still retain the smoothness of his previous work.  Have a listen for yourself…
