Our 11th mix in our mixtape series has been provided by DJWHO (International Haus Gigolo’s) subculture agency
WHO’s first ever release “Attack of the Deep Dark Dubs” came out in 1993. The track charted #1 in Mixmag UK, the worlds leading E.D.M. magazine. Hailing from Baltimore, WHO found his way from producer and local DJ fav into the world of the international jet set circuit a few weeks after the record hit the shelves.
The Chemical Brothers discovered his sophomore effort, “Attack II” making it a staple in their DJ sets at the Sunday Social (their weekly UK club night). Its popularity earned it a place on the club’s eponymous CD mixed by The Chems. In the wake of the CD, the Chemical Brothers invited DJ WHO along on their tour. After a slew of releases and a never ending passion for EDM it is no wonder why DJWHO is still a favorite on the dance floors of the US and across the globe…
