Our first mix in our Rewind series comes from DJ Roland. Roland, former record store owner and an active Kansas City nightclub DJ in the late 90’s through the early millennium, put together this well-compiled set of classic breaks. This mix was recorded in late 1998. First given to me on cassette, every few years this recording finds it’s way into my car. I had some trouble identifying several tracks in this set. Thanks to Steve Thorell for giving me a hand. If you can ID some of the missing tracks please let us know in the comments section below. Enjoy!

You’re right, but its just the acapella played over the record. I will add that in.

Roland was telling me about this mix a while ago but he had lost all copies. I’m gonna try to get a hold of him to let him know where to find it.
